20 May 2025 | What's new: What's been fixed: Mobile app: When users tried to reset their password using the Reset Password button on the login screen of the mobile app, the link wouldn't open in their device's default browser, preventing them from resetting their password. For example, if a user had Microsoft Edge installed as their default browser and tapped the Reset Password button, the reset password screen wouldn't open in Microsoft Edge on their device. This has now been fixed.
Saved screen: When some users clicked the View button on private and protected communities that they had saved in the Saved screen, they were presented with an error instead of being taken to the community. This has now been fixed, and users can once again click through to private and protected communities they've saved.
Learning plans: Learning plan tiles were displaying incorrect wording for learning plans that were overdue or had not been started: In the case of overdue learning plans, instead of saying "Overdue by 26 days", the tile would say "Overdue 26 days".
In the case of learning plans that had not been started, instead of saying "Due 26 Dec 2025", the tile would say "Due on 26 Dec 2025".
Content (PDFs): Some users were experiencing issues viewing and accessing PDFs in private communities. This has now been fixed.
Search (Fuse4): Some users found that when they landed on the Search screen, the title of the screen was missing and certain elements of the screen didn't match their site-wide colours. This has now been fixed.

29 April 2025 | What’s new: You screen (Fuse4): We've made the following updates to the You screen: Separate tab URLs: We've added a unique URL to each tab in the You screen. Previously, all the tabs came under a single URL ([site_name].fuseuniversal.com/you) which meant that if you navigated to the You screen, you always landed on the Learning plans tab first, whereas now you can share and bookmark the URL of an individual tab, as well as navigate directly to it using the URL.
Addition of carousels and "View more" page in You section: We've added carousels to categories in the You screen which show items in order of priority. For example, from now on, learning plans will be ordered by priority, with the most important ones listed first in the carousel, such as those that are overdue or that have upcoming deadlines. We've also added "View more" buttons to categories in the You screen. For example, if you have a very long list of learning plans that you've already started in the Continue where you left off category, you can click the View more button at the end of the carousel to view the list in full. Introduction of the "Next event" banner: We've added a Next event category to the Events tab of the You screen. Going forward, the next event that you are due to attend will be shown at the top of the Events tab in the form of a banner. This means it is conveniently located and easy to access, ensuring that you don't have to go looking for it, as well as making it distinguishable from other events in the tab.
Awaiting approval category: We've added an Awaiting approval category to the Events tab of the You screen, allowing you to see the events you've applied to attend but for which you are currently awaiting sign-off from an approver, such as your manager, the event creator, or a designated approver. While awaiting approval, an event will have an "Applied" label on it.
Reporting: From now on, when you land on the Reporting screen, the list of quick reports will be minimised by default. Previously, the list was permanently expanded, but as we continue to add more quick reports, we have decided to change this so that the page is easier to view:
What’s been fixed: You screen (Fuse4): Some users were unable to view all of their completed learning plans in the Learning plans tab of the You screen because the View more button at the bottom of the list was missing, preventing them from viewing further learning plans that they had completed. This has now been fixed, and the View more button is visible once more.
Learning plans: Some customers said their users were not receiving learning plan reminder notifications consistently, such as 30 days, 14 days, 7 days, and so on, prior to the deadline/expiry, even though the correct settings had been selected in the Expiry tab. We have implemented a fix to ensure that users receive reminders for all of the selected time periods.
Events (Fuse4): Some users were unable to see all the events that were available to them each month on the Events screen because the number of events that could be displayed per month was capped at 10 events. For example, if a user had 20 events available to them in a particular month, they would only see 10 of them. To resolve this, in the short term, we've raised the limit so that the screen now displays a maximum of 50 events per month. We will review this in the data; however, please let us know if the issue persists.
Imports: Some users found that when they imported content view data using the Views dataloader tab and then generated a report, the content view dates were the same as the date of the import rather than the dates they had specifically specified in the "datetime" column of the imported CSV. This has now been fixed, and the correct completion dates for items of content are shown.
Communities (Fuse4): Some users found that if they included HTML in community descriptions, certain tags would show up on community tiles within the platform. This has now been fixed.

15 April 2025 | What’s new: Ask AI: We've added the ability to ask questions in different languages in our Ask AI feature. You can now ask a question in a language other than English and receive an answer back in that same language. For example, if you ask a question in French, you will get an answer back in French even if the quoted source content is in another language, such as English. Please try asking a question in your language and let us know what you think!
We've made improvements to speed, formatting and phrasing of answers: We've made some updates that significantly reduce the time it takes for answers to be returned, as well as the phrasing and style of the answers. For example, going forward, answers will be formatted in a tidier way and will use more natural-sounding language. Before:After:
What’s been fixed: Search When users searched for plural terms, Fuse's search would mistakenly suggest that the user correct it by making it singular. For example, if a user’s search contained the word “jobs,” Fuse would ask if the user meant to search for “job” instead. This has now been fixed.

31 March 2025 | What’s new: Topic custom report: We've reintroduced our custom Topic report after making some essential stability and performance enhancements to ensure that it runs quickly and smoothly, and that you get the best experience possible when using it!
These changes include: Completion status for content field: We've added a new field to the Optional fields section called Completion status for content, which allows you to see a user's completion status for each content item in a topic. This field displays the content ID for each item of content followed by a number indicating whether it is complete or incomplete. 1 = complete; 0 = incomplete.
Making the "Completion status for content" field optional: We've moved the Completion status for content field into the Optional fields section. This means it is no longer included in the custom Topic report by default, however, if you'd like to include this field in the report, you can simply select it from the list of optional fields when configuring it.
Removal of the "Not Started" status: We've removed the "Not started" status from the User topic status filter in the Report filters section, which means when filtering the report by user status, you can select either "In progress" or "Completed".
Removal of fields from the report: To improve the overall performance, stability and speed of the report, we've removed the Sort, Formal assessment user status, Formal assessment completion date, Topic progress (percentage), and Content count fields from the report.
Learning plans (Fuse 4): We've made a small but powerful usability change to learning plans. We found that some users would accidentally try to recomplete recurring learning plans before the reset date, so to help prevent this from happening, we've added a padlock symbol to the thumbnail of these learning plans as well as removing the reset date from the tile, signalling to users that they've completed a recurring learning plan for the current period, and therefore must wait until the next reset date before completing it again. When the reset date arrives, the expiry date is added to the tile, the padlock symbol disappears from the thumbnail, and user is notified that they must recomplete the learning plan again. My team (Fuse4): We've added a new screen to Fuse4 called My team, which enables managers to check the learning plan progress of their reportees. This is a vastly improved version of the Team Progress Dashboard, which includes performance enhancements, enabling the page to better handle a larger numbers of users and learning plans, as well as giving it fresh look and feel.
Navigation (Fuse 4): We've added the ability to right-click items on the side navigation in Fuse4, allowing you to perform various functions, including opening pages in new browser windows and tabs, copying the page URL and so on
What’s been fixed: Duplicate SCORM records: In 0.2% of cases, users were incorrectly marked as "Incomplete" for learning plans they had completed. This was caused by duplicate completion records for SCORM courses in those learning plans, which were showing as incomplete. With this fix, all duplicates that are currently in progress will be removed, and the learning plans that those duplicate SCORM records were associated with will be updated to show as complete.

10 March 2025 | What’s new: Premium connectors: We've just launched our smart connectors feature, which enables you to quickly and easily integrate with a multitude of platforms and external content sources that you and your learners utilise on a daily basis, such as learning content libraries and learning management systems (LMS), making Fuse the front door to learning!
Currently, Fuse supports the following platforms out-of-the-box, with more coming later: LinkedIn Learning Udemy for Business Go1 SAPSuccessFactors TalentLMS Workday Learning
What’s been fixed:
Thumbnails: When some users navigated to the Saved page in the platform, they would see blurry thumbnail images on the content. This has now been fixed, and the images on saved items of content are showing correctly again.
Learning plans: Previously, when users navigated to the Learning plans tab of the You screen and they there were no learning plans assigned to them, they were incorrectly presented with the following message: Assigned learning plans will show here. This has now fixed, and from now on, if a user has no learning plans assigned and they navigate to this tab, they will see the following message instead: Here, you'll see learning plans you have access to; however, there aren't any available to you at the moment. Please check back later.

10 February 2025 | What’s new: Fuse4: We've just launched Fuse4. This first release of Fuse4 comes with a bunch of new features and improvements, giving you a sleeker, more modern and easier to use platform, with more to come in future releases. Some of the key improvements and changes in this release are as follows: New and improved navigation: We’ve introduced a new navigation in the form of an expandable and collapsable side navigation that offers a familiar user interface similar to other popular apps, significantly reducing the learning curve and displaying all important and available features in an intuitive manner.
The “You” screen: In this first release of Fuse4, we’re laying the groundwork for the You screen, which will evolve into a key destination for users seeking clarity and direction in their learning journey. This screen centralises all personalised content, including assigned learning plans, upcoming events and communities, as well as easy access to relevant content.
Save useful and important items: You can now quickly and conveniently save an item that is useful or important to you by clicking the Save icon on it. Save communities, topics, learning plans, events, and content that you regularly interact with, and they'll appear in the Saved screen so that you always know where they are.
History and saved items: We’ve moved the history feature out of the profile screen and into its own dedicated section on the side navigation. Additionally, we recognised that users frequently used the favourites icon and wished for more flexibility beyond 20 items, which means from now on you will have a dedicated screen to view and manage all saved items. This lays the ground work for further additions and improvements, such as allowing you to build your own playlists and more in the future.
Search in context: We’ve emphasised contextual searching by relocating the global search to the side navigation, creating a cleaner experience. For example, when viewing learning plans, you can now search and filter results specific to that context without confusion. Furthermore, we’re making search its own dedicated screen, allowing you to easily find answers and explore content such as events, learning plans, and experts.
New landing pages for communities, topics, learning plans, and events: We've rebuilt the landing pages for communities, topics, learning plans, and events. These include sleek new cards and thumbnails, and now you can search through each respective landing page using the in-page search bar, apply filters, and, for communities, topics and events, create them via the landing page.
Optimised screen space: Fuse4 supports different device sizes and can be easily viewed on desktop, smart phones, tablets and other devices.
Reporting: We've released our new Formal assessment Q&A report. This quick report provides a list of users and their progress on formal assessments attached to topics and includes the details of the topic and the assessment, but also includes the details of specific assessment questions along with the answers given by each user.
Example: This report allows you to see the questions inside an assessment attached to a topic. Being able to see the specific questions and the given answers can be extremely useful when identifying patterns and why they happen, such as identifying why users frequently fail assessments or answer certain questions incorrectly time after time.
Such as: If lots of users frequently get a particular question wrong, it may need to be reworded so that they understand it better. If lots of users are frequently failing an assessment, the content in the topic itself may need to be amended or updated so that users understand it better and therefore are more likely to understand and pass the assessment.
| For more details, see this post. |
15 January 2025 | What’s new: Reporting: You can now create custom formal assessment reports on the Reporting screen. This custom report allows you to generate a list of users and their completion status for formal assessments attached to topics, including details such as the topic name and ID, the assessment ID, the user's completion date, raw score, current assessment status (Started, Passed or Failed), and the assessment result, shown as a percentage.
Search: From now on, answers produced by our Ask AI feature will include: A piece of introductory text stating that the given answer has been generated from the quoted content sources. A piece of text underneath that reminds users to check the original content sources being referenced in the answer.
What’s been fixed: Incorrect colours displayed on UI elements: Some users found that certain UI elements on their platform, such as toggles, buttons, selectors, and pieces of text, were showing in the wrong colours, such as pink instead of the usual predefined colour scheme for their platform. This has been fixed, meaning that those UI elements are showing in the correct colours once again.
Search: Occasionally, when an item of content had HTML in the body, formatting errors would occur in answers produced by the Ask AI feature. This has now been fixed, meaning the answers are once again formatted correctly.
