Topic report (Custom report)

The Reporting (Beta) screen will eventually replace the legacy Reporting screen and will include a host of new and improved reports and features. These features and reports will be rolled out in stages, over several consecutive releases.

This custom report allows you to generate a list of users and their completion status for topics, including each user's start date, current progress score as a percentage, their topic status, last completed date, and the pass status for the attached formal assessment, if configured for the selected topics.

Standard fields included in the report

The following standard fields are included in this report:

  • The fields listed below are always included in this report and cannot be removed when creating the report.

  • The list below does not include any custom profile fields that may be included in the report that are specific to your organisation or fields that can be added optionally during creation. For example, your organisation may have custom fields such as Location, Department, or Job Title that are included in this report.

The unique identifier of the user who has access to the topic.

The unique identifier for the community where the topic exists.

This column shows as NULL if the user is no longer a member or has been deactivated.

Topic id

The unique identifier of the topic.

The title of the topic.

Topic creation date

The date on which the topic was created in the platform.

Last updated date

The date the topic was last edited in Fuse.

If the topic has never been edited, the creation date is displayed instead.

User topic status

The user’s completion status for the topic.

The available statuses are:

  • Not started: The topic is available to the user via the community but the user has not completed any of the items in the topic.

  • In progress: The user has only completed some of the items in the topic.

  • Completed: The user has completed all items in the topic

Last completed date

The last date on which the user completed the topic.

If the topic has been completed and then reset or edited, and is now Not started or In-progress again, this column will still display the last completed date until it is completed again.

Start date

The date the user started the topic.

Last access date

The last date on the user accessed the topic.

If the user has not yet accessed the topic then this column will be blank.

Topic progress (percentage)

How much of the topic the user has completed as a percentage.

Formal assessment user status

The user’s pass status for the formal assessment that is attached to the topic.

The available statuses are:

  • Started: The user has started but not finished the assessment.

  • Passed: The user has passed the assessment(s) in the topic.

  • Failed: The user has attempted and failed the assessment(s) in the topic.

  • Not started: The user has started the topic but has not yet attempted the formal assessment(s) in the topic.

  • N/A: There is no formal assessment attached to the topic, which means a formal assessment status is not applicable.
