File Host

The File Host screen on the Admin Panel allows admins to upload files to Fuse's Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket. Uploaded files can be used to customise widgets and embed files in articles.
Note: Please be aware that slower or unstable internet connections, as well as your browser type can impact the upload of larger files. Although there is no file limit, we recommend that you upload files of 100mb or less.

This section includes the following:

Uploading files to Fuse's S3 bucket

Notes:

  • Please be aware that slower or more unstable internet connections, as well as your browser type, can sometimes impact or prevent the upload of larger files. Although there is no file limit, we recommend that you upload files of 100 MB or less.

  • Folder names are case-insensitive and cannot be the same on an instance or across instances.

To upload files to Fuse's S3 bucket:

  1. On the File Host screen, enter a name for the folder to hold the files.

  2. Click Create this folder.
    The folder appears under Folders.

  3. Click the folder.
    The following screen appears.

  4. Upload files to the folder by dragging and dropping a file to Drag & drop to upload files or clicking Choose file to select a file.
    The file is uploaded.

When more files are uploaded, use the search box and dropdown to filter the available files.
