Granting and revoking access to Course+

Course+ is currently in Beta and certain features within it may be subject to change up until the final release.

You must give users access to Course+ before they can create lessons. To give a user who is not currently a site admin access to Course+ and the Course+ hub so that they can create and publish lessons on your platform, you must add them to the AccessCourse+ admin group.

To add a user to the AccessCourse+ admin group:

On the Admin groups screen, in the Manage groups tab, expand the AccessCourse+ admin group.
Add users to the group, either by manually searching for and selecting them using the Manually add users button, or by bulk uploading users in a CSV file using the Import users from CSV button.
The user is added to the membership list for the AccessCourse+ admin group.
Click Save to save the changes to the admin group.
If you navigate to the User permissions tab and select a user you have added to the group from the Select user dropdown, you can see the AccessCourse+ group permission has been added to their list of permissions:

You might want to revoke access to Course+ for a user. Once a user is removed from the AccessCourse+ admin group, they longer have access to Course+ on your platform, including the ability to create lessons using the Course+ option in the Create dropdown, or the ability to view and edit lessons in the Course+ hub on the side navigation.

To remove a user from the AccessCourse+ admin group:

On the Admin groups screen, in the Manage groups tab, expand the AccessCourse+ admin group.
Locate the user you would like to remove from the group, and click the cross (X) next to their name.
The user is removed from the AccessCourse+ admin group, and no longer has access to Course+ on your platform, including the ability to create lessons using the Course+ option in the Create dropdown, or the ability to view and edit lessons in the Course+ hub on the side navigation.
