I am unable to record and save longer videos when using the Screen Recorder

During a recording, logs are saved locally on your computer in the application's folder.

If your disk space is low, the Screen Recorder may not function properly, preventing you from starting a recording or saving one after it has completed.

For example, if your disk is full, you might:

  • See a “Recorder Paused” message

  • Be unable to start or finish a long recording

  • Lose the ability to save your video

  • Be unable to start a new recording

  • Have trouble closing the Screen Recorder

To avoid these issues, please ensure you have enough available disk space before starting longer recordings.
