The My Dashboard screen is a personal dashboard viewable to Fuse users. This dashboard can be configured by admins in Design Studio to display information that might be useful or relevant to users, such as their average content score, recent activities, contributions, how popular their content is, and learning plans they have been assigned.
Accessing the My Dashboard screen
To access the My Dashboard screen:
Expand the sidebar.
Click My Dashboard.
The My Dashboard screen opens.
Configuring the layout
If you are an admin, you can define the layout of the My Dashboard screen, which is viewable to all Fuse users. The layout can be configured using the User Dashboard tab in Design Studio.
To configure the layout of the My Dashboard screen:
Click Design Studio.
Design Studio appears.
Click the User Dashboard tab.
Drag widgets onto the layout grid, move them to the correct positions, and resize them to the desired width. For a list of available widgets, see the Available widgets section below.
[Optional] If you have added the Average content score, My activity or Contributions widget, click the Settings button to configure the filters for these widgets. These filters are based on custom profile fields, and allow users to include or exclude data for the different groups of users. For more information on how to configure the filters, see the Adding filters section below.
The layout is saved.
From 1st August 2022, the graph showing page views, content views and engagement metrics on the legacy Analytics screen will no longer be available. This also means the Contributions, Average content score and My activity widgets will also cease to show data when placed on pages such as My Dashboard. Going forward, you can access data related to page views, content views and engagement metrics in Universal Analytics. For more information, see this Fuse post.
If you have added the My activity, Average content score or Contributions widget, you can configure the filter options that can be selected by users when viewing the My Dashboard screen. You add a maximum of 3 custom profile fields, so that users can filter the data displayed on the My activity, Average content score and Contributions widgets. For example, you might add Age, Location and Role custom profile fields, so that users can filter the data by age, location, and role.
To configure the filters:
At the top of the User Dashboard page, click Settings.
The Settings popup appears.
Select a maximum of 3 custom profile fields.
[Optional] In the Allow the user to see section, the following options are selected by default:
Group Average: Users can see the average content score for the group. If this is not selected, users cannot see this information on the widget.
Group Leader: Users can see the content score for the group leader. If this is not selected, users cannot see this information on the widget.
When users view the My Dashboard page in Fuse, they can filter the widgets to show information for the different groups of users.
The following widgets can be added the My Dashboard screen:
