Can I hide or remove the 'Views' tab under items of content so that other users cannot see who has viewed the content?

The Views tab is found on every item of content in Fuse, and when viewed, allows you to see which users have viewed the content and how many times. In the case of videos, it also tells you the percentage of the video viewed by each user. By default all users can see this data related to content views, however, this can be turned off. Depending on your preferences, you may want all users, only site admins, or nobody at all to see this data.

It is possible to make this view data visible to:

  • Anybody in Fuse: Any user in Fuse can see which users have viewed an item of content in the Views tab underneath it.

  • Site admins only: Only site admins can see which users have viewed an item of content in the Views tab underneath it.

  • Nobody: No users or admins in Fuse can see which users have viewed an item of content in the Views tab underneath it.

If you wish to change who can see the data in the Views tab under items of content, please contact your CSC, and they will have the settings altered.
