Managing community notification settings
The Notifications settings section of the Community admin screen allows community admins to configure notification settings for the community, including enabling notifications for specific events, allowing community members to disable notifications, and creating custom notification templates.
The Notification settings section contains the following configurations:
Configuration | Description |

When a learning plan has been completed (For community admin) | Select to enable notifications for community admins when a user completes a learning plan. The notification includes the learning plan name, community name, name of the user, and learning plan completion date. |
When a learning plan has been completed (For user manager) | Select to enable notifications for a manager, when a reportee completes a learning plan. The notification includes the learning plan name, community name, name of the user, and learning plan completion date. |
When a user adds content to a community | Select to enable notifications when new content is added to the community. The notification includes the content description, thumbnail, name of the user, and upload date. |
Notification template | Enter text and template variables for the custom notification template. The variable templates available are as follows: A template variable is a placeholder that displays information relevant to a specific event. For example, if the %{event_name} variable is added, the name of the event will be displayed in the body of the notification.

Members cannot turn off notifications for this community | Select to ensure users automatically receive notifications when content is shared. |
Click Save to save all configurations.
