Is there a separate status for users that have not yet started a SCORM course?
A separate status does not exist for users that have not started a SCORM course. However, if you want to know which users have access to a specific SCORM course in the community, and have not started it, it is recommended that you do the following:
- Create a report in Universal Analytics containing the following metrics:
- Learning Plan Title
- User Id (name or email)
- Learning Plan Current Community Members
- In Progress Courses
- Completed Courses
- Select the title of the SCORM course, using the filters in the Analyzer tool.
- Using the Create Calculated Measure functionality in the Analyzer tool, create 2 metrics:
- Users that have not started and that have completed a SCORM course: This can be achieved by subtracting the In Progress Courses metric from the metric Learning Plan Current Community Members metric. This will filter down to only show users that have not started and users that have completed the SCORM course.
- Users that have not started a SCORM course: This can be achieved by subtracting the Completed Courses metric (users completed the course) from the custom Users that have not started and that have completed a SCORM course metric (which you have created above).
- Users that have not started and that have completed a SCORM course: This can be achieved by subtracting the In Progress Courses metric from the metric Learning Plan Current Community Members metric. This will filter down to only show users that have not started and users that have completed the SCORM course.
- This leaves you with a metric that indicates whether the user has started or not started the SCORM course:
- Select 1 to display the users who have not started the SCORM course.
- Select 0 to display the users who have started the SCORM course.
- Select 1 to display the users who have not started the SCORM course.
