Why have I received a "There are too many data points to display" message?

You may receive a "There are too many data points to display" message when creating a report using the Table insight in Universal Analytics, if the amount of data in the report exceeds the maximum limit set by Universal Analytics.  

When creating a report using the Table insight type, the maximum data limit is 60,000 rows.
