Why can't I see the status bar on my iPhone when viewing the Fuse mobile app?

 iPhones running iOS 13 and above allow users to toggle between Light Mode and Dark Mode. If an iPhone is set to Dark Mode, the status bar at the top of the screen (displaying an iPhone's network information, connectivity status, and battery life) is not visible when viewing the Fuse mobile.
